We are officially feeling like we are in the midst of Christmas break! We are with family and friends and it is so much fun to watch Haddie and Louie with Great Grandparents and family! They are loving all the attention! 

This outfit is my "easy as pie" outfit. Great denim, a turtleneck, and a camel coat. Pairs easy and looks chic, esp with these OTK boots, but looks great with low booties too!

SEQUINS AT CHRISTMAS

This is literally the perfect Christmas Eve outfit. Sparkly mixed with COMFY! Usually when you think of wearing sequins you might think "too dressy" or "itchy" but paired with this comfy sweater and scarf (that would look equally good with jeans or your jammies) it works perfect. I went for a bold lip combo, because, I mean it is December. 

I purchased this sequin skirt a few years ago and still get lots of wear out of it! I linked up a lot of favorites!

If you follow along on my Instagram then you know we celebrated Louie's first birthday this weekend! We had a little (and I mean little thrown together) party for him at our house with some friends and ate pizza, cake and ice cream. Every ONE year old's dream foods! Louie loves to eat everything and he ate almost 2 pieces of pizza and his little cake! But what he loved the most was his puppy chow! lol

It was nice just letting our friends kids run around and hang out at our new home. It's the first time we have had a few of them over to our home, and while I still feel like there are so many little things that I need to retouch, add, or change, it felt like home. 

As for Louie-- I love that little guy with my whole heart! He is precious. 

I still feel like I am getting the hang of being a "boy mom" and I'm far from skilled lol but I have been trying to go "zroom zroom" when we play with his trucks and play a little more rough with him on the bed. lol He loves to be tickled, tackled, and chased!! It's amazing how innate all of these boy characteristics are! So different from Haddie. Like

-He makes car and truck noises on his own when we plays with cars. I never once taught him that.

-He finds anything with wheels. Cars, bikes, strollers, barbie cars, shopping carts. He loves wheels.

-He just knows how to throw a ball. He watches it and chases after any round objects.

Haddie did not do any of those things! 

Anyway! I had a wonderful weekend celebrating my littlest love and Haddie did a great job celebrating her brother too! Time slow down!!!!

I wish I would have taken Onnneeee more glance in the mirror before we snapped these shots to move this hat a little bit more down on my forehead, buy HEY, we all can't get it perfect the first time! lol 

I DO LOVE this hat and jacket though! Pink perfection and some pearl detailing make a girl feel good! 

Today we are playing in our first playoff football game and it is either gong on till we end or one and done. I am hoping that our team fights hard tonight! I'm excited to spend it with my favorite littlest cheerleader! <3
