Sorry my posts have been so short and few lately! With football season in full swing and my new job (:)) and still trying to get the house together, life has just been going non stop and we are all still trying to adjust to the new schedule! I know we will get it down soon but right now I feel like we are just trying to keep our head above water!

I did pick up these cute loafers at Target when my sister was in town, she has them too, and so far I think they are really cute! I have seen them all over instagram (the gucci ones) and so I thought for $22, they were def worth a try! If you have been debating how much you would wear this style, then these are a perfect price point to give them a try!

Cannot tell you all enough how much I loved wearing these shorts yesterday! They have been sitting in my closet for a little while now and I decided to go ahead and keep them because, lets be real again... Texas weather is going to be HOT for SO long. I thought about using the money for a more "fall" purchase, but these were too cute with the frilly ruffles all around! They also come in khaki and fit TTS!

CURRENTLY CRAVING.

This is a RANDOM board of currently craving but these are the things that randomly pop up into my mind throughout the day! 

...driving in the car, talking to Haddie in the back seat, and then my brain pops to that hot pink skirt and how that would like great with my OTK boots... lol back to Haddie...

... eating breakfast... thinking about different artwork placement and plates on the wall... back to feeding Louie...

.... getting dressed for the day while singing songs to the babies, and then picturing how leopard loafers would really change my looks from spring to fall... back to twinkle twinkle little star..

You get the picture.

But I have sold a few things on Poshmark and now I have $ burning in my pocket and these are the things I will most likely be buying:

1. LEOPARD BAG: I LOVE this bag! It seriously is a great size and I'm excited to be carrying it all fall and winter! Love that it can be carried as a satchel or crossbody.

2. LACE SWEATSHIRT: Ok, I'm obsessed! This is SO adorable. Seriously thinking about taking the plunge on this. I love all the details.

3. RUFFLE SHORTS: As much as I'm excited for fall, let's be honest.. it is going to be summer here in Fort Worth for about 3 more months. lol I think these will be the perfect short to keep my summer tops feeling fresh when I'm dying to wear warmer pieces.

4. IKEA LIGHT: This light has been some of you all's favorite thing in my house! I have gotten a lot of comments on it and I really think that it makes our bookshelves and our office "pop!" At only $20 a pop, they are AWESOME! They also come in white.

5. PINK SKIRT: Bright pink and ruffles. J Crew... always does it for me.

6. LEOPARD MULES: I would really like to get some mule loafers this fall and love this style! Again, I wear leopard as a neutral and think these would be adorable!

7. BOW SWEATSHIRT: SO CUTE. Love the sleeve detail and also super comfy for being at home with the babes.

8. DISTRESSED DENIM: I saw 'somethingnavy' wearing these jeans and I have been thinking about them ever since! I have seen this brand (GRLFRND) pop up more and more recently and think they are so cute! Also, I love that they are a true 'denim' and not stretch.

9. BELL SLEEVE TOP: Hands down my favorite thing I have seen lately, especially for the price! ($32!) I already bought this and it took me a good 5 minutes of clicking on each color swatch to decide which colors to get! ha I called my mom and sister and told them they HAD to order it too!! I plan on wearing this tons with skirts, denim, and shorts!

10. BLUE ART PRINTS: I saw these last week and have been thinking they might go perfectly in my kitchen eating area. Right now my kitchen is basically all white and I am really ready to throw in some pops of color. I thought these might be a good flow into the living/office area with my new wallpaper up now too.

11. BLUE BATIK PILLOWS: Maybe going too blue/white crazy?? Too matchy matchy with my wallpaper?? I'm torn. I am def going to be thinking about these but my living right now is my blank canvas. I have all neutral furniture and neutral pillows. I feel like lately all of my creative juices have been drained and I might need to wait a bit to get some more inspiration (and for the money tree) to bloom. lol I have felt a clear vision for how I want each room in my house to look excpet for the living room so we will wait and see what happens to it over the next few months!

This top is all like "YES, long live summer!" and then this handbag is screaming "I"m SO fall" and I was timid to start carrying it, but I couldn't help it. lol I love leopard too much!

I never really got into Vera Bradley but when I saw this leopard bag I LOVED it. It reminded me of a bag that was in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year that I always wish I would of grabbed. It's on sale right now for a great price and I love the size of it. It is structured, detailed, and can also be a crossbody, which is IDEAL for mama. As you probably know, since I carry it almost everyday lol, my Kate Spade Hayden Street bag is so perfect for everyday. I'm hoping this one does the same for me as they are similar in shape and size! Plus- leopard goes with everything, so this was a no-brainer.

But.. onto my exciting news:

I have a new job! This job was SO NOT ON MY RADAR and things have moved pretty quickly with it but I'm so excited!

My husband teaches at a private Christian school here in Fort Worth and also coaches football, and helps with baseball. About two weeks ago, I got a call asking if I would be interested in helping with the Cheer program! I cheered all through middle school and high school, and then also 2 years in college at Kansas State University. I immediately said, YES, but had to hold my excitement with BUT, I have two kids and they come first right now. So we ended up working it out with the school to where I would help out with a few JV games and some practices here and there to help assist the head coach. Perfect. 

Fast forward to last Friday. One week ago today, due to some changes that had taken place, they offered me the position of the head coaching job.

So, to make this long story short and to not bore you with tons of details... I can only say that this is all a huge work of the Lord, and that I'm going to be the head cheer coach! 

God really worked everything out, even down to the biggest and littlest details on practice, scheduling, and child care. I'm also so excited about the lady who is going to be watching Haddie and Louie a few hours a week so I can coach and I think they are going to have a lot of fun with her.

Getting into 'cheer coach' gear has been a total change in mindset this week, as I already have my third cheer class today, but I'm excited to see where this year takes us. Just getting to meet this group of sweet girls this week has me really excited for a great year with new relationships and new opportunities!
