This week I am at cheer competition with my cheer girls! We are in Waco for a few days and I'm really excited to see our performance today! I haven't been to Waco since my college visit when I was a Senior in high school but after we compete tomorrow afternoon we are going to get some dinner and look around Waco! So much has changed since my college visit and I'm a huge fan of Fixer Upper (who isn't) and so I'm excited to see the Silos!

I'll give you an update tomorrow on how our cheer team does!

Ohhh the post holiday blues. Family is gone, food is gone, you feel fuller, yet always happier... lol But things like this always are over before you know it. I feel like my family was here and then gone before I could even blink! I am already looking forward to seeing them again at Christmas! We had a really low key, yet delicious Thanksgiving. I miss living close to them but was so thankful that they drove down to see us for a few days!

With all the great sales going on, I didn't even have time to look at them this past week! I did see on my email that my favorite coat is at the best price though until Monday and decided this was a perfect post for today! If you are not a pink person, this coat comes in SO many other great colors! This coat has been a staple in my wardrobe for a few years now and I LOVE it. I wear my camel color the most. You can see the other two colors/styles I have below as well! You cannot go wrong with this purchase! The perfect Christmas gift!

Happy Thanksgiving! 

My parents and my brother drove in late last night and are getting to spend a few days with us for Thanksgiving and I'm SO HAPPY! 

There is nothing I am more thankful for than my relationships with those around me and my Savior!

WE HAVE A WHOLE WEEK OF FAMILY TIME! NO FOOTBALL, NO CHEER, NO ANYTHING... I cannot even believe it as I'm typing it because it is still so surreal. Seth's team lost in their playoff game last Friday, which was a bummer but overall they had a good season. Losing is bittersweet as a lot of my husbands hard work comes to an end for the year, but also that means dad gets to be home a bunch more now! (Which we are all pretty excited about!)

I have a "honey-do" list a MILE long and so I am trying to break out a little bit each day! lol Yesterday and today we tackled our leaves and our yard. It looks 100 X better but still has so much work to go. We are going to get rid of all the bushes in the next few months so that should be a fun project uprooting them. lol NOT. I just want to start fresh with the landscaping and pull everything up. It's going to be a process but I think, so worth it in the end!

Tomorrow we are going to go visit friends in Rockwall for the day! It should be a blast!
