I cannot believe it is already Halloween, the end of October and the beginning of November!! WOW time is flying by. October just disappeared and I can't believe I only have 6 more weeks until little babe arrives. Life is going to be changing here pretty quickly! I am soaking up my days with Haddie, my nights with Seth, and my small freedoms with being a mom of a 1 1/2 year old. Thinking about pumping, breastfeeding, not sleeping and losing baby weight doesn't sound like the most glamorous thing to me right now but I'm SO excited to meet our little one!!! I know once he is in my arms I will forget about every anxious thought I have and just relish in holding him! Every life stage is SO different and has so many different joys, hardships, excitements, and pains. I love getting to learn to embrace all of them and remembering how special each season is.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
"There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens... "
Remembering truth today and praying you all choose joy and gratefulness as we enter into Thanksgiving season!
Oh.. and how could I not throw in some of my classic and favorite Halloween costumes....
When your mom spells "CHIEFS" wrong on your face for Halloween... you leave it.. !!! haha
So here she double checked the spelling before puff painting CHIEFS but my sister didn't get the memo that you are always NUMBER 1. lol
That one year in 5th grade I decide not to be a cheerleader and we have to find a costume the night before the Halloween party at school. My mom "made up" this idea that I was a Pumpkin Princess because it was the last costume on the rack and somehow I bought it. NEVER AGAIN...
Ending with a surprise... gotcha! A Cheerleader! lol It was fun looking through some of these old pictures and seeing how from such a young age, how badly I always wanted to cheer! Getting to cheer in Jr. High, High School, and then College was a dream come true!! You never know what you will get to grow up to be!
Have a fun and safe Halloween Everyone!
