For memorial day, I did not have a picnic like I would have hoped, BUT I did wear a skirt with a picnic print which makes up for it! We also ate some watermelon, which Haddie LOVES! I love getting to see her try new foods.
So, a little life update...
this past week we had a huge week! We closed on our home this past Friday which was SO bittersweet! It was hard leaving a place that we loved and that we brought Haddie home to, but we are so thankful to the Lord for the way we were able to sell our home to friends that are going to love it as much as we did. (They also just had a baby girl about 3 months ago and love the pink nursery. It was perfect.) My husband took a new job in Ft. Worth, but we are not moving until later on this summer. So, we had to move our WHOLE home into a storage unit, and we are living out in Lampe, MO till July at Kanakuk Kamps, a Christian sports kamp. Seth and I both grew up going to Kanakuk and so it's really fun for Seth to get to work there this summer. We moved into our cabin on kamp property this past weekend as well, which has added to the craziness this week! Haddie had been at kamp for 2 days and is already OBSESSED with kamp! ha. She wakes up from her nap and immediately walks to the front door and points to the knob. She knows there is so much fun awaiting her outside; endless fields to run in, rocks to pick up, people to meet, popsicles to eat, and water slides and pools to play in. She is going to have a blast this next month. As for my blog, bear with me as we are out in the piney woods of Missouri till July with terrible wifi service! I am thankful for you for reading this and following along! I love this blog and enjoy sharing my life and fashion with you!
