I cant express to you how much I miss fall!!! I soaked up every moment of it in Kansas City - drove with the windows down 24/7, drank tons of Starbucks, went on lots of walks with Haddie, wore scarves & sweaters, and played in the leaves (which lead to seriously itchy oak mite bites! ugh). But regardless, you don't realize how much you love something till it's no longer there! Thankfully, Ft. Worth is starting to cool down and so I will just picture beautiful orange, yellow, and red leaves on my walks with Haddie this week! ha

These booties have been a game changer. They go with EVERYTHING. They are great with my leggings, jeans, dresses, skirts, and shorts. I'm so happy I invested in these and hope you guys get some great everyday booties for fall and winter! I also love the Sam Edelman Petty. My mom and sister have them in multiple colors and they are such a great boot for everyday! Cheers to cute FLAT boots that don't hurt your feet all day!

Also love this burnt orange colored tunic sweater. I love the other free people one's I linked above and I'm thinking about ordering another sweater in this color! It's perfect for November! (On second thought, considering I might put up a small Christmas tree in our apartment this week, I might want to skip that thought and just jump to buying some red and green! lol)

The last time I had been to the Deanna Rose Petting Zoo in KC was when I was really little! My mom had suggested it to me when I had got home last week because my brother was off school too and I thought it sounded fun, but had really low expectations. When we got there, I couldn't get over how cute, sweet, and charming it was! It was the prettiest little zoo and the weather only made it 10X better! It was a perfect fall day outside and we went on Halloween. There were tons of playgrounds, eating areas, hayrides, pumpkin patches, and of course, animals to pet. Haddie LOVED it. I thought she might be a little hesitant but she was ALL OVER IT. It was such a special day I am going to have jogged in my memory for a long time!

Haddie and I have loved being in KC this week with my family. The trees are BEAUTIFUL!! I cannot get over the weather and how that alone has been so good for my soul! I have been outside every chance I have gotten, be it on my mothers porch, on a walk with Haddie, or eating outside. Our days go by so quickly here so I am not ready to go back to the Texas heat but we are missing Daddy like crazy!
