PREGNANT MOM & BABY MUST HAVE ESSENTIALS

This is a post for new mamas, new mamas to be and their BFF's going to baby showers!

If you are pregnant, getting dressed everyday, let alone creating a baby registry can be SO overwhelming. There are SO many options, opinions, and things you have to take into consideration for each item depending on your own personal things you desire for your new baby! With this baby boy coming and ALWAYS on my mind, I decided to round up my favorite things I had for myself, Haddie, and that I have for baby boy. They are split into Prego Mama Essentials, Baby Room Favorites, Favorite Baby Accessories, and Favorite Baby Comfy. Hope this helps with creating a registry as I have listed my favorite items and brands that we used the most with Haddie and plan on using again!

 

1. BP Cardigan | 2. Sam Edelman Booties | 3. Nordstrom Dress | 4. AG Denim (I have multiple brands, cheap & name brand, and AG are the best. They don't strech out near as fast and feel the most like a true denim instead of a stretch! SO WORTH YOUR MONEY! These are the exact pair I have, but I have worn mine so much the holes have burst through the knees through two pregnancies! lol ) | 5. ASOS Faux Leather Leggings (You don't have to scroll past a week of posts to see how much I wear these! So chic yet comfy!) | 6. Anthropologie Cardigan | 7. New Balance for J Crew

Besides my maternity jeans and leggings, I can honestly say I didn't buy much of anything else maternity. With styles now for pregnant women (where we can show off our bump :)) there wasn't a huge need for me personally to buy tons of tops, sweaters, or dresses. I did buy a few tee's and sweaters in a size larger to wear with leggings and jeans, but most of those will still work great after pregnancy too. My advice is to continue to spend money on things you will wear AFTER baby-- (Great cardigans, jackets, booties, heels, tennis shoes and handbags).

Furniture, lighting, and wall decor are also such a big thing for me because you will be staring/sitting on it all day for like the next 5 years... (in our case probably 10-20 LOL). So it has to be good, and something you BOTH like, and something thats durable... AND JUST PERFECT, AND timeless... AND now kid friendly... AND inexpensive but really good quality...
