I LOVE FALL! But don't we all? After melting away in the last bit of summer, everyone loves the taste of 70 degree weather, denim and booties, sweaters and Starbucks. It's been a struggle living in Ft. Worth and seeing the weather temps of KC and Branson on my phone in the morning!! Oh how I miss that weather!! While it is starting to cool off, I decided to share with you all my favorite pieces for fall and the MOST BASIC and BEST pieces to add to your wardrobe for the season and seasons to come. By looking for STAPLE pieces, you can learn to mix and match your wardrobe in SO many different looks.
By this point, you have most likely switched out your spring/summer wardrobe to fall/winter and know what you have and what you don't have. Hopefully my fall checklist can help you see what you have and then what you can build upon!
So.. here we go!
Ok - now lets break it down section by section:
Joie | Gap (last season, similar here and here) | Jeffrey Campbell
^^ my most worn booties ^^
LOW ANKLE BOOTIE | HEEL ANKLE BOOTIE | OVER THE KNEE BOOT
***(I have these same IKEA shelves in my closet where I keep my most worn shoes but my closet was too dark to photograph! No, my husband does not let me display my favorite shoes in our room, as much as I would like to haha)
CHOKER | SOMETHING VELVET | OFF THE SHOULDER | COOL TENNIS SHOES | BURGUNDY | NAVY
***(Still in need of something velvet and some "cool" tennis shoes! My sister has these cute Adidas and I love them! She pulls them off with everything.)
Now, the fun part... how to wear it all!
I seriously contemplated laying out/wearing all of the different combinations of how to wear, mix and match these 30 pieces but I think I could of kept going on and on and on and never stopped! Instead, below I decided to PROVE to you how I wear these 30 pieces in so many different combinations for fall already! These 30 pieces will truly make it easier to get dressed in the morning and I hope you find some outfit inspiration from the pieces above and the outfits below!
(Also, side note: my photos below are all with my heel OTK boots but would look just as amazing with a flat OTK boot. I will be sharing more about my ongoing search for a low heel OTK boot saga next week lol )
Let me know if you have any questions about how to mix and match, favorite brands, or anything else!
Happy Pairing!
xo, Ash

Throwing it back to a few months ago when Chandler came and took some photos of our house as I love seeing the changes we made in the year we have lived in our home! I'm continuing the next room BEFORE/AFTER post with the living room/office area…
