So Haddie had a wonderful birthday! Let's talk about spoiled! So many cute lipsticks, books, minnie mouse cars, music stereos, and especially ELENA OF AVALOR gear! She has it all. She is SO happy! I'm excited because we also got some money to buy her a little table and chairs! I think she is going to LOVE that to have her tea parties at and also to sit and color or whatever. She was SOOOO shy when people first came to her little party at the park, and then by the end she would warm up and be her normal self. She's a crazy girl and I couldn't love her more! My favorite memory of her party is when she was eating her cupcakes, and then her Elena of Avalor balloon started coming at her in the wind, and she freaked out! I guess a huge Elena balloon coming at you is pretty scary! haha (see picture below!)

It was fun having Seth's family come and some of my friends from Dallas, and also friends I've made here in Fort Worth. Also my sister and her husband got to be here and I have missed seeing them so much! It made my heart happy to have everyone together and Haddie cried when her "Sugs" had to leave yesterday. Saddest thing ever! If you live near family, take advantage of every second! Can't believe my girl is 2!!!

EASTER LOVE

You eyes probably just saw WAY too much pink if you skimmed these photos but I just couldn't leave any out! This was one of my favorite things to wear in a long time! The ruffles, frills, the asymmetrical hemline, and just the shade of pink made me fall in love with it. AND I wore the top the rest of the day with jean shorts and felt just as cute! I truly felt like an easter egg! lol

Anyway - Easter was such a wonderful day spent celebrating Christ's resurrection. I'm so thankful he died for me and rose again that I may have new life, and have it abundantly. 

I truly feel like I live an abundant life when I keep Christ the center. I'm so thankful for my sweet in-laws, my loving and selfless husband, my adorable mini-me daughter, and my smily (most the time ;)) baby boy. God is SO good all the time but has been expecially sweet in this season and I couldn't be more blessed. Thanks for following along!

As you read last week.. I'm a sucker for pretty white tops. I just love white. Especially when it has eyelet, ,frills, and ruffles. I snagged the one above at Old Navy last year but wear it on repeat lots and linked lots of other beautiful tops below as well!

As for this weekend, I cannot believe it's already Easter weekend! We have been reading Haddie her Easter story books a lot more this week trying to explain the way Jesus died on the cross, rose again 3 days later, and now is able to live in our hearts forever if we choose to let him in... but I would say the only thing she understands is that when she see's a cross, she crosses her legs! haha Hey-- it's a start! She will be 2 in a week!! AHH. 

Anyway- I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and thanks for following along! I'm excited to celebrate our Savior this weekend. I'm so thankful he died on the cross and rose again to save me and YOU.

"Cheettahh!!!" Haddie officially knows cheetah print! Makes my heart so happy haha and especially how she says it! She gets a big smile on her face and says "chheee-taaaa." So cute!  So speaking of cheetah, I saw leopard pants at J Crew last week and they reminded me of the leopard pants I already had in my closet. I love these pants. I have had them for four years and think they are a great staple! 

On another note: We had such a good weekend. Seth and I each had a friend from Branson, MO come visit us and we loved spending time with them! Haddie went on her first Easter egg hunt and she was so cute! She loved finding the eggs, putting them in her basket, and then opening them all and asking to eat ALL the candy. lol She also had a friends birthday party at a little gym and played in a bounce house and ate TWO cupcakes. She was the only one still sitting at the little table still eating.. perfectly content. My GIRL!
