^^ I feel so blessed at how much my friends love my kids!! It's SO sweet to see them love on them!! And Haddie ate up every second of all the attention! ^^
^^^ Haddie gone wild in her cheetah sweater! She woke up from her nap SO happy to play with her new friends, crazy hair, and grabbed our bag of Cheetos! haha ^^
^^ My friends bring out the best in me... lol"
^^ 1. 2. 3. Friends! The background story of why we always put our fists together is back from high school. My brother is 10 years younger than me and was playing with a friend in our front yard when he was like 7. My friends were over too and Marc and his friend were arguing over like a toy or something and my dad comes out and is settling the issue. I don't even remember what it was about but basically my dad told them to just forget it, put it behind them, and just put their fists together and say "1, 2, 3, Friends!" and they were all good again! haha So since that moment... thats our motto too! No matter what, we are always just "1, 2, 3, Friends!"
^^ Dad of the year over here! Feeding and holding both babes while mom had brunch with her friends! ^^
WE HAD THE BEST WEEKEND! (including Haddie! lol Talk about spoiled!)
It had been WAY too long since we all 4 had been able to get together since 2 of us live in new states! But even though we have distance separating us, with our group text and facetime, It didn't feel like it. Also, when you are around people that know you inside and out, the distance never matters.
I gave my friends those little picture frame gifts because I loved the quote SO much because it's so true of our friendship--->
"This was their secret. They wanted to be together so they made sure they were."
While I knew that we were going to have a blast together no matter what we did, plan or no plan, I wanted to make sure we were intentional. We all talk every week but it's hard to know everything about whats going on with someone over group text. Time can fly by and before you know it, its been a month without telling people whats REALLY been going on! So dispersed into our weekend, we had a jar of "fun questions" and "serious questions." Throughout the weekend, it was SO fun to just grab a question over snacking on all our favorites, chatting in the living room, eating dinner, or walking around. There was so much laughter and joy from being together, but also rich conversation, advice and encouragement to be the best friends, wives, daughters, and employees we can be. We asked questions like, "Top 3-5 emotions you currently feel about your stage of life?" "What makes you feel super loved?" and "1 way you want to grow spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally this year?" I loved processing through these questions myself and then getting to hear where each of my friends hearts were at! It was a wonderful weekend and I already miss them SO much!
We all have so much to look forward to this year and I hope this is a tradition we continue for all our future girls weekends!

Throwing it back to a few months ago when Chandler came and took some photos of our house as I love seeing the changes we made in the year we have lived in our home! I'm continuing the next room BEFORE/AFTER post with the living room/office area…
